Hi, I’m Aom and I’m about 37 years old. In my childhood, I was trained to perform various acrobatics. When I grew up, I spent most of my life carrying tourists on my back. I had some mental issues from the arduous training and sometimes the cruelty, and I had to be separated from my calves many times. I didn’t even like people approaching me sometimes.
I have to be honest, I don’t like loud noises and am terrified whenever there is a sound of a woodcutter or some other strange sound, it just makes me want to run away.
Once, I got so scared by a weird sound that I ran away and accidentally fell into a hole, injuring my leg.
I am a mother elephant who takes excellent care of my calves, I love them very much. Last year was a bad year for me, as I lost my 3-year-old calf, Luna, to the Herpes virus (EEHV). But I’m glad I had the opportunity to have her in my life, even if it was only for a short time.
